A day in the life

As a Fulfillment Associate, you have a very important role in the company you’re in charge of getting our candy into the hands of our customers and creating an unboxing experience that makes our customers feel loved.

You take pride in your handiwork and you love the idea that your day-to-day tasks are bringing happiness to thousands of people around the world.


  • Pick, pack and ship candy orders of all types, including website orders from Sugarfina.ca, custom orders for weddings and baby showers, corporate gifts from high profile accounts such as Virgin, E! News, and Showtime, and even some A-list celebrity orders.
  • With so much going on, there’s something new and interesting every day.

  • Use Netsuite, Ozlink & Ordercup to pick & ship orders daily
  • Meet or exceed the picking, packing, and shipping productivity and quality assurance standards as set by your manager.
  • Create an unboxing experience that surprises and delights our customers.Take a look at Instagram and you’ll see our customers LOVE the way we package and ship their candy.
  • You’ll neatly assemble their order, pack it up into pretty boxes, gift wrap it with a satin ribbon, and write a sweet note that will make their day.

    You can take pride in knowing that your work is appreciated and your customers will even take pictures and share them on social media!

  • Keep the warehouse humming by cleaning and organizing in between orders. We’re obsessed with keeping things neat and tidy in our warehouse, just like we do in our retail stores.
  • Ensure overall warehouse inventory is accurate by auditing BIN on hand levels on a regular basis.
  • Jump in and help with anything else that comes up. It’s never a dull day at Sugarfina, and your shift may include various other tasks and projects as needed, from assisting with inventory counts to unpacking boxes to preparing invoices.

  • You consider yourself a perfectionist and you’re not satisfied unless the job is done right

  • If you’re crafty you’re just our type. Your role will include gift-wrapping and writing hand-written gift notes.You have nice handwriting and you’re comfortable tying pretty bows (and willing to learn how to tie them the Sugarfina way).
  • You’re highly dependable, responsible and organized.
  • You learn things quickly and you’re comfortable on a computer.
  • You’ve got great hustle you want to learn and grow, and you’re willing to work hard to do so.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack is a plus
  • A valid reach-truck certificate is a plus
  • At least a level 1 first aid certificate is a plus
  • Physical Demands

    Ability to remain in a stationary position on your feet constantly during your shift. This position will be working in a warehouse environment.

    Will be occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or otherwise move self in a reasonable way or position to perform the essential duties.

    Ability to safely exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

    Work Environment

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The general working hours are from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm.

    Flexibility is a necessity as shifts are adjusted to accommodate the business needs. Overtime may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business that will require weekends, evenings, and holidays.
