What will you contribute?
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Product Development, the Dynamics 365 CRM Architect will play a leading role in activities across the entire CRM project lifecycle from Discovery through to Deployment.
With their strong cross functional knowledge, the Solution Architect will be a subject matter expert in Dynamics 365 (CRM) and will work closely with Enterprise and Product Architecture, Technical Leads, Product Management, and agile team members in designing, developing and implementing CRM Solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The CRM Architect will have extensive hands-on configuration, customization, integration and deployment experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Dynamics 365 CRM in an agile development environment.
Responsibilities and Deliverables :
Lead solution design activities in pre-grooming, grooming and sprint activities
Participate in the development of architecture documentation to support the future roadmap and ensure application maintainability
Develop and unit test moderate to complex programs / modules according to specific business and design requirements
Deliver on enhancements / product progression projects on time and on budget per project plan
Provide support and enhancements to existing production applications to minimize outage time and increase effectiveness of business
Liaise with Architects, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to refine software requirements; and to assess the feasibility of solutions within time constraints
Produce code that is secure, reliable, reusable and scalable
Contribute in the evaluation of code and database design, system structure, interface between hardware and software, operational and performance requirements of overall system
Prepare Technical Design and Specification documents
Create implementation instructions and support application deployments
Facilitate knowledge transfer as a SME.
Mentor team members and support their development.
Participate in application code reviews / walkthroughs to ensure accuracy in relation to business requirements and development guidelines
Remain up to date of development technologies, both current and future
Follow industry standards in application development, secure coding, and testing
Required Skills and Experience :
Expert knowledge of MS Dynamics and Dynamics 365 (including but not limited on Configuration, Data Migration, Form Customization, Security, Processes / Workflows, Case management, Entities, Plugins, CRM Data Modeling, Integrations, Reporting, Charts and Dashboards, etc.)
Exert in configuration capabilities of the D365 to check and promote configuration over custom code.
Expert on Microsoft Power Platform to utilize PowerApps and Flows to extend D365 Customer Engagement functionality.
Expert in Designing and Implementing online D365 and PowerApps solutions.
Expert in designing D365 integrations with On-premises Data Center Applications
Experience on designing integrations with Mainframe Financial systems preferable.
Experience extending Microsoft Dynamics by writing custom code that can be used by Microsoft Dynamics.
Previous experience working with Microsoft Engineers on Fast Track enabled projects preferable.
Experience with using Managed Solutions to deploy delivered D365 functionality on the downstream instances.
Experience with Azure DevOps to automate deployment pipelines.
Experience with managing multiple D365 instances on a single tenant deployment.
Experience developing CRM deployment guides, CRM DevOps processes, documenting troubleshooting and support guides for production support teams
6+ years experience of building multi-tenancy, high-volume, transactional CRM solutions with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
4+ years’ experience across the full Dynamics 365 (CRM) implementation lifecycle with deep experience across the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service modules
Experience with ASP .NET, MVC, C#, and .Net Framework 1.1 to 4.5.
Experience in designing, developing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions including models, documents, and plans
3+ years’ experience of SDLC and Agile development
Ability to communicate effectively with the business analyst, business leaders, and SMEs to ensure solutions meet business needs
Experience of one of the unit testing frameworks like EasyRepro, xUnit, nUnit or SpecFlow
An appreciation of end-user needs, requirements and ability to see the big picture
BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
