Community is at the center of our customer journey at Canopy Growth. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will be a face of the brand and point person for all community requests, inquiries and opportunities to collaborate on education, events, and social initiatives.
You will be trusted to maintain positive relationships with community partners, industry partners and all relevant stakeholders identified in your territory.
We will rely on you to extend our culture and excitement for our growing collection of Tweed products, brand experiences, and unique partnerships to adult consumers at all levels of experience.
Build meaningful relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders in your community
Discover opportunities to engage and inspire community members with insights and expert know-how on cannabis and the ever-evolving brands at Tweed
Promote our education programs, events and community services
Generate digital content from engagements and events
Coordinate community engagements, assist in setup and tear-down of events
Support and collaborate with Tweed retail teams in your territory
Work closely with the Sales Manager to support customer outreach and education
Support Community Engagement Lead on regional marketing activities

Experience and Background
An exemplary working knowledge of cannabis and the cannabis industry
Passion for cannabis reform, access and social impact
Concrete understanding of marijuana law
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous brand ambassador experience
Engaging, outgoing, motivational, persuasive, compassionate and flexible
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong social media skills an asset
Must compete a Criminal Records Check
Must have a valid driver’s license
Candidates will be asked to conduct a presentation as part of the interview process.
