Position Overview :
The Sr. Director, Brand & Product Marketing is responsible for leading Canada Goose’s brand and product strategy to support our global business.
Through leadership of a team, this role leads the development of all brand and product marketing strategy, priorities, campaigns and execution.
This is a key Integrated Marketing and Communications cross-functional leadership role requiring collaboration with Canada Goose Executive Team, Go to Market team, Global Marketing team as well as Sales, Design and Merchandising, Product Development and Corporate Communications.
This person will also own key external relationships with partners and be a member of the Marketing Leadership team. The Sr.
Director needs to not only manage a team in their region but also consider the needs of diverse global markets.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational leadership, international market experience, is innovative, strategic and a strong cross-functional business leader.
They are able to translate insights into strategy and create the new and different into transformational growth for the business and brand.
They bring an energetic results-oriented attitude to all internal and external marketing campaigns and communications that accurately reflect the Canada Goose brand.

Key Responsibilities :
Work closely with the VP of Integrated Marketing and the Chief Marketing Officer to develop strategic Brand & Product Marketing plans and corporate strategies that represent the consumer and brand, in collaboration with the Marketing Leadership team.
Be a champion of the Integrated Marketing & Communications process. Ensure the process is integrated into every brand and product campaign.
Define market and related product positioning, insight into appropriate distribution channels required to maximize revenue and brand positioning, market research / competitive analysis, go-to-market sales tools, customer segment selection and penetration plans.
Ensure the new brand positioning of Performance Luxury and newly defined target segments are integrated and reflected across all consumer touchpoints and sales channels.
Manage new product launches and support product development based on innovation, brand development, market trends, competitive research, customer feedback and consumer research and positioning.
Manage, develop and mentor the Brand and Product Marketing team.
Build and develop a team that is passionate, dedicated, commercially astute, efficient and high achieving.
Continuously evaluate and adjust marketing strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Plan, monitor, and analyze annual department budget goals.
Experience, Education and Designations :
10+ years of brand management experience.
Experience working in a marketing leadership position within the apparel industry.
Experience of working within a global or multinational environment.
Bachelor’s degree or MBA in marketing or related field from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated leadership experience, encouraging both performance and development.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes :
Strategic thinker with ability to develop plans that will drive results in the short and long term with ability to mentor, develop and coach a team to ultimate performance.
Well-developed creative skills in particular leading the creative process from brief to launch, working with creative agencies, media planning, promotional campaigns, developing and creating a message for the brand.
Analysis and interpretation of data through a commercial lens.
Strategic thought-leadership; ability to connect insights to implications for strategy.
Excellent communication with both internal and external resources.
Detailed-oriented with ability to oversee projects from origin through execution.
Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in an amazingly fast-paced, high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Highly effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Self-starter, entrepreneurial with hands on approach towards business.
