The Opportunity Training Specialist
Our Training Specialists are key in helping our customer care agents provide positive customer experiences and great service on every call.
If you are fun, energetic and enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of people, then we want you to join our team! As a Training Specialist, you will provide instruction and support for our existing employees, helping them improve and grow .
We need someone who is ambitious, detail-oriented and customer-focused. Here's what you will be doing :
Delivering high quality training using a variety of media types virtually
Maintaining a high level of expertise in training subject material
Monitoring the quality and effectiveness of the learning environment and outcomes
Creating training materials
Educating employees on new company initiatives and program specific skills
Assisting in the development of surveys and evaluation strategies
Staying current on learning industry trends and relevant business topics
Identifying root causes of skill set deficiencies and collaborating to develop training solutions
Collaborating with the Training Manager and team to maintain curriculum development
Providing daily trainee progress reports
Minimum of a 2-year degree / certification or equivalent related field experience
2+ years of experience in learning and development, virtual classroom experience preferred
1-2 years training program design and development experience preferred
Experience and knowledge of adult learning theory
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and strong interpersonal skills
Team and relationship building skills
Expert working knowledge of technical and non-technical training media; authoring tool proficiency
Proven experience with tools such as Captivate and Connect preferred
Ability to organize, take initiative and follow up independently
Ability to think independently and make decisions, while adhering to standards and guidelines
