Responsibilities :

  • Sell Fortinet suite of products to Government of Canada, Shared Services Canada and partners managing the sales process through to closure of the sale.
  • Achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals.
  • Generate a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
  • Identify new opportunities within the region’ and create a strategy to close new business within assigned accounts
  • Deploy solution selling techniques to identify customer issues and work with them to create partnerships
  • Be aware of significant developments within your base
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory to develop and maintain a good rapport with customers and channel partners
  • Utilize sales tools to help keep track and plan territory sales, and manage time effectively
  • Respond to customer requests on a timely basis
  • Work with the SE and Channel team to help maintain a good coverage in the territory
  • Work with Marketing to ensure all customers are aware of new products announcements
  • Attend trade shows, conventions and training courses as required
  • Required Skills :

  • Must hold Secret Level II clearance, TS preferred
  • Technical Strengths cyber, Cloud savvy (Azure, AWS), Zoning
  • Strong SSC Cybersecurity executive relationships
  • Strong comprehension of SSC Digital Transformation plan / vision
  • Understanding of SSC Procurement
  • Experience with RFP response preparation
  • Proven ability to sell solutions to Government of Canada accounts
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in closing large complex deals to executives & individual contributors
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with persuasive communication skills and selling style
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience selling to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
  • Minimum 3 years selling enterprise network security products and services.
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.
  • Bi-lingual French and English with both strong and professional verbal and written skills
  • Ability to be efficient in an independent environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SF.com an asset
  • Education :

  • BS or equivalent experience, graduate degree preferred
