British VogueThe role : Reporting to the Purchasing and Planning Director, you leverage business analysis to drive optimization and deliver objectives in the areas of demand planning, inventory management, supply management, warehousing and logistics.
This position works to develop best practice frameworks and processes focused towards standardization and optimization of our supply chain activities.
You’ll lead all relevant performance analysis and reporting initiatives, in addition to supporting senior management in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support and lead in the development & maintenance of Supply chain scorecards; drive the implementation and tracking of key performance indicators and measures to improve performance
Be responsible for examining workflow and utilizing analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, and enhance supply chain processes
Analyze and produce accurate reports for the business as needed to support improvement initiatives. Types of reporting and analysis includes inventory turns, product WAGM, fulfillment costs, risk assessments, inventory budgeting etc
Create and maintain analytics tools for the Supply chain team. Be responsible for providing and reporting business intelligence information as it relates to demand sensing, supply constraints and distribution
Provide monthly reports and updates to assist with the month end processes while also developing insight to challenge the teams progress against key performance indicators
Lead projects and process improvements to help improve efficiencies in the supply chain department. Assist in developing SOPs related to our supply chain processes.
Provides periodic static data extraction and validation for integrity and consistency; ensures data updated in relevant supply chain systems.
Manage item stratification, item lead time, safety stock calculation and other planning variables
Analyze and produce accurate reports for the business as needed. Types of reporting and analysis includes but are not limited to business and process improvement, inventory turns, risk assessments, sales, costs, budgeting, and product assortment.
Suggest actionable improvements and initiatives
Support the evaluation of existing and necessary development of new demand tools and processes to support management of post mix forecast
Collaborating with business users to understand their challenges and being able to solve those challenges by leveraging business systems and technology
Responsible for project management of Supply chain IT related projects. Working closely with technology team to translate business requirements into successful technical deliveries
The successful candidate will have :
2 - 3 years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience, understanding of business processes including supply chain and inventory systems
Post -Secondary Degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management and / or related field
Quantitative and analytical skills (extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities)
Broad range of computer skills : database, spreadsheet, statistics applications and software (MS Office), ERP systems
Self-starter who thrives in fast paced environments that requires multi-tasking, prioritization and minimal oversight
Ability to connect and influence multiple stakeholders across various functions and levels to drive performance
Continuous improvement mindset to drive supply chain performance in the areas of service and inventory.
