Why is this role important?

What You'll Do

Own tasks and responsibilities involved in setting up, executing and monitoring paid social media campaigns for internal and external clients.

Work closely and collaboratively with Media Execution Team on the development, implementation, and optimization of campaigns to successfully execute the defined strategy and ensure target KPI’s are being meet or exceeded.

Analyze and interpret data points and provide actionable insights to optimize performance.Compile accurate and timely weekly, periodic, and post-campaign reporting.

Develop and maintain campaign trackers and dashboards.Become proficient with 3rd party ad-serving, tracking, and analytic systems.

Maintain detailed files of all pertinent records relevant to the client’s business with Loblaw Media.Participate in team brainstorm sessions and collaborate on projects.

Continually learn and demonstrate effective knowledge of social media innovations, technology, and digital trends.Assist in the management of agency relationships as well as evaluation of new vendors that will provide value to the business.

Work collaboratively with different cross-functional teams within Loblaw Media and Loblaw Enterprise as well as external partners.

What You’ll Need

Post-Secondary education University graduate or College certification (Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business or Economics preferred).

1-2 years’ experience in digital media marketing preferably responsible for delivering against performance targets on demand-side platforms such as Facebook Business Manager.

Proficient knowledge of Social Media platforms including Facebook Business Manager, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter.Understanding of media briefs and trafficking sheets.

Understanding of the roles of various digital channels.Technical experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.

Proven experience accurately reporting and analyzing numbers and metrics.A proactive approach to problem-solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.

Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development.Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Relevant qualifications from Facebook an asset, ie. Blueprint certified.Exceptionally results-driven, responsible and accountable.

Proactively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and company culture.
