Position Summary

The Squash Assistant provides excellent squash instruction and customer service to encourage repeat business and help grow the revenues and participation of the club’s squash program.

The Squash Assistant will be the lead of the program when the Squash Pro off the property.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Offer safe, professional, and comprehensive programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will improve their overall squash game and ensure they remain engaged in the squash program while ensuring all programs follow company SOPs for brand standards
  • Achieves monthly revenue goals by promoting and selling Squash programs, lessons, exclusive equipment, etc. and ensures repeat business in order to grow their book of business monthly.
  • Ensures that all squash courts and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition
  • Recruits new members into the Life Time squash program
  • Ensures all programs are booked in the Life Time court scheduling software and follow all company SOPs
  • Works with the Activity Center and Account Mangers to ensure program promotion and service all new member lead prospects
  • Demonstrates and executes a positive and professional image for Life Time squash by being a Brand Ambassador in the squash community internally and externally through involvement when at events, schools or engaging with their local Squash Racquet Association or non-Life Time members
  • Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience teaching Squash lessons or Squash programming
  • Squash Level 1 Certified- or European Equivalent
  • Strong English communication skills
  • CPR and AED certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to sit, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Current member of US Squash
  • Is a citizen of the US, has a work permit or ability to qualify for H-O1 Visa
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Ability to use Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Prior tournament experience in regards to organizing and scheduling
  • Ability to develop lesson plans
  • Understands basic financials in regards to P & Ls
