Job Description

IT Applications Business Analyst (HRIS)

As a member of the IT Application Delivery team you will participate in the enhancement and deployment activities of a portfolio of systems dedicated to Recruitment, Training, Talent / Performance Management, Global Mobility and External Communications.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor reoccurring system or process gaps for the portfolio and proactively identify potential enhancements.
  • Understand the needs and the strategic priorities of the Recruitment, Training, Talent / Performance, Global Mobility and External Communications teams.
  • Monitor updates / new versions of the systems part of the portfolio and assess potential impact on daily operations.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and document them (BRD).
  • Work closely with the internal Functional Analyst and / or with our partners (CGI) for the design and build.
  • Participate in the drafting of test scripts and coordination of UAT testing with end-users.
  • Communicate changes regarding new processes, procedures or enhancements to IT, HR and other affected parties;
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, computer science, or any other relevant training and / or experience;
  • 3 years of experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and / or Learning Management System (LMS) an asset;
  • Knowledge of Workday, Cornerstone or Assignment Pro an asset;
  • Strong technical requirements writing skills and analytical and synthetic thinking;
  • Marked ability to adapt to dynamic and complex environments;
  • Ability to handle uncertainty and ambiguousness;
  • Strong sense of priority management;
  • Excellent French and English verbal and written communication skills.
