To further this mission, we’re looking for an analytical, creative and highly-motivated Marketing Manager to lead DoorDash’s customer, merchant, and dasher marketing efforts for Canada.

Based out of our Toronto office and reporting into the Head of Local Marketing at our SF Headquarters, this role will be responsible for building and executing integrated marketing plans to acquire, retain and grow our consumer, merchant, and dasher base for Canada.

  • The ideal candidate will be a proven marketing leader with an entrepreneurial bent - skilled at everything from unearthing local consumer insights to securing and executing a partnership activation on the ground;
  • and capable of collaborating effortlessly across cross-functional teams - including Strategy & Operations, Merchant Teams, and Growth Marketing.

    What You’ll Do

  • Define, manage and execute a quarterly integrated marketing plan for Canada
  • Partner with Sales on regional account marketing opportunity development.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing initiatives
  • Review and approve key marketing assets to ensure on-brand executions.
  • Develop business briefs for bespoke Canada marketing initiatives
  • Plan and maintain a comprehensive status schedule for ongoing regional marketing projects.
  • Gather local market research to help drive strategy discussions.
  • Work under tight timelines and deadlines with limited supervision or direction - a proactive approach to driving process and schedules is necessary.
  • Qualifications

  • Must live IN the market - strong geographic knowledge of the market is a must.
  • BA, MBA preferred
  • Bilingual; English & French
  • 7+ years of Field Marketing, Brand Marketing or Local Marketing experience with budget accountability, ideally within a major household brand.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some early mornings, nights and weekends and some travel
  • Experience and a proven track record of success with on-the-ground activation
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task
  • Strategic and business-minded - you find trends in the data and look for the so what
