Responsibilities and Duties

  • Working closely with the Director or designated client lead, the Manager is responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of best practices, principles, strategies and process while ensuring consistent quality and output on projects
  • Effectively engage cross-agency teams to ensure performance on deliverables
  • Develop creative solutions to client business, media challenges and opportunities
  • Monitor workflow for quality, timeliness and appropriate resources
  • Work with intra-agency and inter-agency teams to deliver best-in-class media solutions for the client
  • Foster an open, creative work environment
  • Actively participate in idea development strategy sessions
  • Develop a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the clients business and the media landscape
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, suppliers and agency partners
  • Build media strategies that tie back to business goals with a clear measurement plan to deliver against
  • Stewardship of the media strategy across investment teams and ensuring executional excellence
  • Manage and delegate the day-to-day media responsibilities across the planning team to ensure adherence to deadlines (i.
  • e media plan changes, Buy Specs, flowcharts, etc.)

  • Provide informed points of view on new media opportunities and / or partners
  • Primary owner of annual media budgets, billing, and actualizations
  • Desired Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Attributes

  • 3+ years of Media Planning experience across multiple channels
  • Experience with cross-platform media programs from conception to implementation
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Strong communications skills; both written and verbal
  • Developing media knowledge that spans across disciplines and channels with a growing depth in digital
  • Passionate and curious about clients needs
  • Proactive and solution oriented
  • Ability to confidently share a point-of-view and support it using insights and data
  • Awareness of client business issues, industry / consumer trends, promotional resources, market status and competition
  • Confidence in presenting

  • Well organized and deadline-oriented
  • College Diploma in Advertising / Media or University Degree in a related field
