Position Summary : This is a 9 months assignment.

We have been engaged to identify and present a strong SQL database developer and Reporting Analyst with extensive experience with Data Warehousing and SQL reporting tools.

This SQL professional will work with a well recognized organization that provides life saving services in Ontario. The required consultant will have a substantial background working with SQL database clusters, Reporting Services, and interact with the various teams in IT and executive leadership.

The consultant will be responsible for manipulation and generation of various reports as well as supporting the ad hoc requests coming from the various groups within the organization.

The contractor for this 9 months assignment will consult with internal clients to determine the requirements for the creation and maintenance of dynamic online reporting systems and will create ad hoc reports to respond to the needs of internal clients.

DBA skills are not required for this role as their is a DBA already on site for 24 / 7 support of mission critical applications.

The SQL consultant will create financial and KPI reports using a vareity of tools , for example SSRS and SSIS.

Must be proficient in a range of technical languages and tools that includes VB.NET,XML,

Crystal reports, HEAT, SSRS, SSIS, DTS, Java script, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2000, and Excel (the environment). Possessig some or all of these skills is an advantage.

Qualifications : QUALIFICATIONS :

Strong DW and SQL Reporting skills.

Srong SQL Server 200, 2005 skills. Excellent Dtabase manipulation skills.

Completion of a bachelor's degree in related field (i.e. Information Systems, Information Technology) from a recognized university

3-5 years of previous relevant experience, healthcare or logistics experience preferred

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Experience in implementing and utilizing data warehouse systems

Understanding of basic statistics and methods, including reliability / validity assessment, and research / audit conventions.

Sound organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and meet conflicting deadlines are essential

Demonstrated excellence in communication, customer service and team building with the ability to initiate and model positive change.

Experience with utilization, clinical and financial data.

Compensation : up to $40 / hr, 9 months contract
