Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Project management support including quotations, scheduling, budgeting, and deliverable tracking
  • Interfacing with customers, equipment suppliers, TCCA / FAA / EASA and subcontractors as per the project requirements
  • Perform on-site installation surveys as required
  • Effectively communicate with on-site installation team during modification
  • Manage Engineering design changes during installation
  • Participate in and witness Flight / Ground / EMI testing
  • Prepare compliance reports and records from modification and conceptualization to final approval in areas such as : airworthiness approval documentationdesign models and engineering drawingsground and flight test plans, analysis, and reportsinstructions for continued airworthinessflight manual supplements and service bulletinsairworthiness compliance and engineering analysis reports in area of avionics
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical role supporting aircraft avionics systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Aerospace engineering, or relevant education and experience
  • Knowledge of TCCA / FAA / EASA regulatory requirements and airworthiness regulations, preferred
  • Project management skills is considered and asset
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in civil avionics and electrical systems is required
  • Knowledge and direct experience in Design Approval Organization (DAO) activities is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Functional Hazard Assessments, Systems Safety, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis is considered an asset
  • Proficient with use of electrical drafting in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge and experience with environmental qualifications such as DO-160 would be considered an asset
  • Experience with Solid Works 3D modeling would be considered an asset
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance procedures such as AMM, WDM, IPC, scheduled maintenance, test procedures, test equipment, safety practices, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Focus on teamwork and collaboration
