The Role : Manager, Pharmaceutical Insights
Reporting to the VP, Pharmacy Pricing & Payer Relations, this position will lead the investigation and proactive business opportunity identification that will support the business development initiatives within the pharmacy services team.
Principal Responsibilities :
Proactively identify opportunities for expanding current business partnerships as well as support new opportunities within our Pharmacy Partners Network
Support the PPN group with reporting and insights into current performance metrics and quarterly business reviews with Plan Partners
Support the Pharmacy Services Leadership team with insights into current physician practices, identify new areas of expansion based on prescribing trends or specific drug category focuses
Analyzes consumer, competitor, and market share trends, stays on top of market developments and communicates to pharmacy leadership team
Identify opportunities for business development with brand pharma vendors
Researches and identifies new drug category opportunities that support pharmacy strategies and goals
Translates market research and analytical insights into strategic recommendations and business plans.
Supports business case development of return on investment / IRR analysis on potential new business and initiatives
Support pharmacy business development and completion of RFI and / or RFP for private and public partnership opportunities
Influence pharmacy leads to incorporate identified opportunities into strategic and operational plans
Knowledge, skills and experience :
University degree in Accounting or Business-related field.
Excellent computer skills : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microstrategy, and IQVIA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Passion for and demonstrated success analyzing market share and performance metrics to drive decisions
Ability to assimilate and interpret data from multiple disparate data sources into concise meaningful recommendations
Able to work within a team environment and independently with minimal direct supervision.
