The Registered Dietitian is an active and essential member of the interdisciplinary health care team. The incumbent is responsible for the nutritional care of inpatients and outpatients in the Complex Continuing Care and Rehab Programs at the Freeport Campus.

Duties include comprehensive nutritional assessment and development of nutrition care plans for a wide variety of disease states and nutrition related issues, including nutrition support, dysphagia management, nutrition education of individuals and groups and discharge planning, etc.

while working within an interdisciplinary team. Additional responsibilities may include actively participating in quality improvement initiatives, being a contributing member of quality council(s) and the mentoring of dietetic practicum students.

Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.


  • Registered Dietitian, membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Nutrition support (both enteral and parenteral) experience required
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Self-directed, organized, and diplomatic.
  • Team player with ability to adapt to change.
  • Good computer skills
  • Good attendance record.
