Description

The Field Operations Specialist is responsible for providing training for TBC’s Midas franchise locations across Toronto and entire Canadian market.

This position reports to the Division Sales Operations Manager and works closely with Regional Sales Managers. The Retail Field Trainer will lead franchisees through change management, Assist new and existing franchisees become operationally proficient and execute key TBC initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Provide sales, customer service, product and computer training to Midas franchisees

Ensure proper execution of key TBC initiatives

Develop effective relationships with franchisees and their employees

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years retail multi location training experience

Retail tire and automotive service business experience is a plus but not required

Franchise experience is a plus but not required

Excellent selling, sales training, and presentation skills

Ability to challenge, motivate, influence, and communicate effectively

The flexibility to be deployed to stores outside of your primary area of responsibility when needed

Results focused and orientated

Financial acumen

Ability to engage all TBC support departments when necessary

Highly motivated self-starter that can effectively plan regular visits with franchisees

Customer service orientation and a high level of professional integrity

Microsoft Office Skills : PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Knowledge of Point of Sale systems with the ability to become an expert in the Midas POS system (RO Writer)

Strong telephone, verbal, and written communication skills

Team player with a high level of ownership

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Approximately 80-90% travel expected

Occasional nights and weekends is required to support franchisee special events
