Our Trade Department navigates the ins and outs of cost and customs to move our product and minimize risk. Analytical and solution-

focused, this team plays a pivotal role in getting our product to our clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Trade Compliance Director, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for the seamless import and export of our materials and products as well as managing government and regulatory compliance programs.

Your expertise is critical in building and managing Aritzia’s compliance strategy, policy and programs to minimize trade costs and ensure compliance with export and import laws and regulations.

You thrive in these details while ultimately understanding the important role you play in delivering beautifully made clothes at the right price at the right time to our customers.

THE JOB

As the Trade Compliance Director, you will :

  • Develop and continually improve trade strategy and build policies, processes and procedures
  • Manage all legislation and regulatory requirements of import and export of goods
  • Manage all government and regulatory compliance programs
  • Manage and develop the Trade Compliance team
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    The Trade Compliance Director has :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Retail experience within fashion or apparel
  • Proven experience in International Trade Compliance and / or import & export
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations, valuation and classification in the textiles industry
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high performance team
