Role Summary :

Working as part of the Digital Technology (DT) Infrastructure team, the successful candidate will be responsible primarily in providing technical support to end users.

The candidate will take calls and work on support requests through a ticketing system. Main responsibilities would include setup, installation, troubleshooting and supporting workstations, printers, mobile devices and applications.

Key Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide level 1-2 technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Support the DT infrastructure which includes laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and other DT related devices.
  • Strong fundamental troubleshooting skills and the ability to apply those skills to assist troubleshooting on a wide range of information systems and applications.
  • Document, track and follow-up on all inquiries, incidents, problems and service requests as assigned. Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
  • Work with other DT personnel within the DT Division to solve end user problems as needed. Escalate difficult problems as appropriate while remaining in contact with the user until acceptable resolution occurs.
  • Perform PC refresh activities, new PC deployments and PC moves.
  • Respond to and follow up on DT Infrastructure support requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in developing and updating DT documentations.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of all DT equipment, software and software licenses.
  • Assists on project implementations and system upgrades as needed.
  • Performs other duties as needed or required.
  • Qualifications :

  • A diploma or degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience required.
  • Comptia A+ or equivalent experience. MCSE certification is a plus factor.
  • Advanced PC hardware, peripherals & software troubleshooting skills;
  • Strong knowledge in supporting Microsoft technologies such as Windows OS (7, 10), Office Suite (2010, 2013), Active Directory and Exchange / Mail for user administration.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Desktop Operating System deployments.
  • Knowledge and exposure in supporting mobile devices
  • Knowledge of common network terminologies / topologies
  • Experience with end user support; assisting users with day to day operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage various technologies and complex issues; ability to handle multiple tasks on a short deadline
  • Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently;
  • Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills and displays a willingness to learn.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • JDE Experience would be beneficial
