We have an amazing role for a dynamic and motivated individual. Located in our new Winnipeg, Manitoba office, the Business Development Representative (BDR) will be a leading contributor of organic growth to the company.

You will engage clients, provide insight, and connect them with a People Corporation consultant primarily in the Benefits and Pension divisions.

In this role, you will work as part of the inside lead generation team to identify, develop and qualify sales opportunities.

This is a perfect role for someone who is eager and motivated to play an integral role in moving the organization forward.

  • Transition existing raw leads into a functioning sales funnel through remote prospecting, relationship building and digital marketing, achieving specific targets for outbound lead activity
  • Work with potential clients to provide insight, educate, and learn through questioning and qualification and book appoints for the Benefits Consultants
  • Ensure all lead generation activity is recorded in Salesforce and managed as per our Qualified Leads Score
  • Execute on corporate marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of new Business Development representatives and provide back up support as needed
  • Ensure department and service standards are met and all deliverables are complete and customer focused.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Comfortable with cold calling to uncover new business in a metric driven environment
  • Responsive to potential client needs with the ability to create a sense of urgency
  • Set high standards of performance for self and others
  • Exercises professionalism at all times when dealing with external and internal customers
  • Time management effectively manage time and resources in order to achieve high productivity and efficiency
  • Good computer skills; i.e., Excel, Outlook; knowledge of Salesforce (preferred)
