Under the supervision of the Team Lead for Network Operations, this position is responsible for the provisioning of network services and the configuring of enterprise network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.
to provide connectivity to government clients within the Network, Communications and Collaboration Services branch, OCIO.
The position works within a team and with multiple outside vendors and internal expertise to ensure these services are installed and meet the client’s and OCIO’s technology requirements.
The position will also be responsible for documenting any changes and communicating those to the group. Performing this work outside normal working hours may be requested occasionally (but not mandatory) to ensure client downtime is minimal.

Job Requirements :
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below :
Experience providing customer support services in an information technology environment. Experience in providing IT troubleshooting support for data network related issues.
Experience in data network environments, problem resolution techniques and approaches. Experience in resolving a variety of simultaneous problems in different computing environments.
Experience with Cisco Enterprise network devices and software (Routers, Switches, Wireless Access, IOS-XE). Experience with Juniper Enterprise network devices and software (Routers, Switches, JunOS).
