We’re looking for 2019 High School Graduates to attend college and be trained as a millwright apprentice.
Work closely with senior millwrights to gain knowledge and skill as required
Complete all necessary in-class work and become successfully certified
Learn about new equipment on the job by reading manuals and through hands-on experience
Ensure all work is conducted in a fashion to ensure the safety of all employees
Use electrical PPE as required
All other tasks as delegated by the maintenance supervisor
Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade 12) or equivalent (GED). Successful candidates must provide proof of Grade 12 (or GED) to Ministry of Training to become a registered apprentice
Successful candidates will be required to progress through a multi-step selection process and will be required to pass testing / evaluations and an interview
Receive in-house training to obtain certifications
Must be willing to work overtime
Must be able to work all shifts
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Flexible and adaptable
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
