BILLING CLERK INVOICING / SETTLEMENTS TO CUSTOMERS & INDEPENDENT OWNER OPERATOR DRIVERS
This mid-sized full service Transportation company is experiencing huge growth in their ecommerce retail delivery side of the business.
This is an amazing growth opportunity for someone with hands on knowledge of invoicing and settlements to customers & independent owner operator drivers.
SUMMARY OF POSITION The billing clerk will provide financial and administrative support to the invoicing and settlement process.
They will ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of invoices and settlements. Issue invoices and bills and send them to customer communicating through all forms of contact.
Issue customer account statements as needed. Process Settlements from data entry to deductions to our team of Independent Owner Operators.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Billing / Settlement role
Completion of post-secondary studies in related field would be considered an asset.
Ability to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgment.
Proficient with the use of a computer, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as a member of a team
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to liaise with all levels of staff to achieve department objectives
Extreme attention to detail and a proven record for accuracy in inputting
Strong ability to multi-task and effectively manage work requirements
Experience working within the transportation industry would be considered an asset
Experience leading a small team in a supervisory capacity considered an asset.
