Our client is a national distributor of upscale architectural products for the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
They operate showrooms in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal.
This opportunity is for a full time inside sales position in their Vancouver showroom location on the Vancouver West Side.
The position schedule is 9-5 Monday to Friday and will encompass showroom management as well as inside and outside sales responsibilities.
3-4+ years of successful sales or customer service experience is a MUST (building materials or interior design a plus!)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take initiative leading to increased sales and brand awareness in the architecture, design and construction communities.
Outgoing, professional, well organized and self motivated
Strong time management and organizational skills
Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
Excellent people skills with the ability to sell over the phone, via email correspondence, and in-person consultations
Enjoys competition and the ability to increase once income via sales success
Must be detail oriented, able to manage work flow processes between factory ,warehouse, and installation
Must have a strong customer service orientation building the employers brand through excellent pre and post sales support
Ability to understand the technical aspects of our entire product range and communicate this information to others including to architects, designers, installers and end users
