Work in teams reporting to the development manager on those teams

Your work will revolve around

  • Researching and collecting due diligence for potential development sites
  • Administration of the Homeowner Protection Office Warranty
  • Tracking and following up on release of outstanding Letters of Credit with all development projects
  • Requesting information, assisting with permits and monitoring application progress with municipalities as required for on-
  • going development projects

  • Liaising with project stakeholders
  • Assisting with the organization and participation of public information meetings
  • Attending council meetings
  • Researching general info on development issues and prepares summaries
  • Administration as required by the Development team such as preparing correspondence, filing, coordinating and minutes of meetings
  • Communicating and working with other Verticals as required to accomplish the work tasks assigned
  • Assisting in directing and communicating with consultants for development projects
  • Coordinating commercial tenant requirements with tenants, consultants and construction
  • What you have

    Proficient with Microsoft Project (scheduling software)

    1 year minimum experience in a similar position in the real estate development industry, Municipal Planning or other related industry

    Research skills

    Analytical aptitude - able to compare data, information and crunch numbers

    MS Office skills Excel, Word & PowerPoint

    Access to a vehicle for visiting project sites, consultant offices and city halls of various municipalities
