The opportunity :

KPMG’s Supply Chain Practice provides management consulting services in Procurement transformation, Demand & Supply planning, Industry 4.

0, Distribution & Logistics, and the digitalization of operations. Amidst ever-changing technological, economic and regulatory challenges, effective supply chain management has become a central concern for companies wanting to accelerate growth strategies, stabilize volatility, and offer new and differentiated value to customers.

From assessment to execution, we help clients transform their supply chain to become a strategic enabler and create a durable competitive advantage with measurable outcomes.

We are seeking a versatile professional to strengthen our Management Consulting practice in the Toronto office to deliver meaningful and exceptional client services.

Experience in the manufacturing sector will be integral to candidate consideration.

What you will do

You understand the complexities of designing and managing supply chains and by leveraging KPMG’s strategic business approach you will unlock sustainable value across the extended supply chain.

Depending on the circumstances for which our services are called upon, professionals in this role will be responsible for :

  • Supporting client pursuits and business development efforts including preparing proposals and leading presentations to senior executives;
  • Identifying and recommending supply chain manufacturing improvement opportunities including but not limited to; client performance gaps, production and inventory planning, production flow, data management, digital ecosystem, sustainability, and Global supply chain network;
  • Developing focused business cases and execution plans to increase value, and to create sustainable market differentiators for our clients;
  • Supporting clients with business process improvements, and leading technologies implementation based on the industry 4.0 framework;
  • Supporting clients in the development of a service delivery model that promotes leading practices and innovative solutions;
  • Leading a team of professionals in the profitable realization of the above;
  • Participating to the Canadian practice’s growth in a very collaborative environment.
  • What you bring to the role

  • A passion for delivering high quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Bachelor or Master of Industrial Engineering.
  • Business Administration degree, or CPIM, SCMP certifications considered a strong asset.
  • 8+ years experience working in an industrial Supply Chain, manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in management consulting.
  • Experience in performance improvement, business & digital transformation, supply chain improvement, and other transformation initiatives related to the industry 4.0 framework.
  • Supply chain and manufacturing systems implementation experience including ERP, Warehouse Management System’s and MRP functionality considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of time across Canada (in a Non-COVID context).
