Join the Innergex Accounting team of devoted employees and whose mission is to provide quality financial information. You will report to the Accounting Manager and your mandate will be to complete the full accounting cycle for several hydroelectric, wind and solar construction projects, and for corporate entities.

Your day-to-day!Perform the full accounting cycle for multiple hydro, wind and solar projects and corporate entities;Record journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, perform bank reconciliations, sales tax remittances, revenue billing, tracking prepaid expenses and accrued expenses payable, etc;

Accounting for fixed assets and related depreciation;Reconcile inter-company transactions;Develop and prepare various monthly value-added analyses;

Participate in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory financial statements;Participate in the preparation of annual audit files;

Participate in various special projects to improve the book closing process;Establish and maintain strict internal controls.

Your skills, our requirements!University degree in accounting or college education combined with relevant experience; 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position;

Experience in the full accounting cycle;Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and data entry; Excellent general software skills (e.

g. Great Plains, Acrobat); Technology savvy, ability to adapt to different ERP systems;Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;

Spanish is an asset; Experience in managing multiple currencies is an asset; Experience in a public company, an asset; Excellent ability to concentrate, work under pressure and with tight deadlines;

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and attention; to detail while meeting deadlines;

Autonomous and quick learner; Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Additional considerations!The position is located at our head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil / Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
