Role Description :

We are seeking a Bookkeeper for a permanent engagement! Please see the following list of responsibilities :

  • Process and record daily AR and AP transactions
  • Communication with clients, vendors and banks as required
  • Update, verify, and maintain Quickbooks and other financial records
  • Monthly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
  • Monthly adjustment of inventory accounts
  • Monthly preparation and filing of GST / HST returns
  • Prepare reports for management, including weekly cash flow forecasts
  • File and process company expenses and reimbursements
  • Bank runs
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Data entry and other administrative duties
  • Sensitivity to confidential matter is required
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of a university degree is required (accounting)
  • 2 years of experience in accounting is preferred
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Professional communication demeanor
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and document creation software such as Adobe Acrobat is required
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills is necessary
