a day in the lifeAs Manager, North America Ecommerce, you are a business owner overseeing all ecommerce operations across women’s, men’s, accessories and new venture categories.
Reporting to the Director, North America Ecommerce, this role as a multi- dimensional partnership with functions within the ecommerce organization as well as key cross functional partners.
This role has a primary focus on financial and business objectives and requires a passion for all things digital with a comprehensive understanding of the ecommerce marketplace (which includes and not limited to macro trends, major relevant players, and best practices).
Strategy timeline focuses on current business to 2 years out with emphasis on current to 12 months. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and effective cross functional communication skills are essential to this role.

Set financial targets by looking at both high-level trend and detailed key performance indicators in partnership with Merchandise Planning and Financial Planning & Analysis
Partner with UX, Product Management, and Analytics teams to identify and create new website components
Monitor performance against objectives and changing business needs related to categories
Collaborate with cross functional partners to implement strategies to grow top-line revenue while providing an unparalleled inspirational omni guest experience
Leverage analysis, insights, and usability principles to review the business and highlight opportunities
Partnering with Product and Brand on a quarterly, monthly and weekly basis to develop an integrated cross channel marketing plan
Business representative for categories during seasonal meltdown process to provide insights and opportunities for future merchandise plan and buy
Manage multiple product and operations projects simultaneously; track and report on their effectiveness
Recruit, hire, and on-board necessary talent to ensure scalable success of the categories
Develop team members through coaching and challenging them in taking on new responsibilities
Partners with other ecommerce managers on overall North America business objectives and develop strategy on how to achieve this through category view
Regular interaction with ecommerce leadership to ensure overall ecommerce strategic initiatives are aligned with total category directionwho you are
6+ years in ecommerce category management, ecommerce merchandising or similar ecommerce roles
5+ years in ecommerce leadership or related role in Digital
2+ years in people leadership / management roles
Experience managing large categories in ecommerce
Experience managing $50M+ ecommerce business / category preferred
Apparel retail experience highly preferred
Experience with large sku counts, complex and diverse assortments, or vertical retail
Robust Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) required
Strong understanding and comfort with web analytics and financial analysis
Strong problem solving, decision making, and project management
Ability to work in a fast paced & lively environment
Highly organized and exceptional attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, communications, marketing or related fieldmust haves
