This role is an opportunity for a senior CC&B developer to be involved in the delivery of documented technical solution, creation of new code, code fixes and providing assistance and direction for support matters.

This role will suit an individual who is very familiar with an Oracle Utilities Application Framework that enables him / her to effectively work with varied Oracle products including CC&B, MDM, ETPM or MWM .

This role would touch all aspects of the SDLC - requirement gatherings, design, development and implementation in an Agile team environment.

As well as ongoing operation support of the delivered application(s) or modules, the incumbent would work as part of a development team within the larger IT framework to implement technical solutions that meet requirements.

Responsibilities :

Participate in definition, specification and design of software features that leverage industries best practices

Translates business requirements into technical designs

Work within an Agile team to develop software according to design

Code, test and debug programs of various degrees of complexity and / or complex subroutines

Participate in both software configuration and development required to deliver new functionality

Participate in data conversion ETL procedures

Participate as necessary in requirements gathering, business process configuration sessions

Perform integration and test procedures

Participate in the on-going support of delivered applications and products

Learn new technologies, propose solution / improvements based on new knowledge

Mentor and develop colleagues and peers

Propose cost effective technical solution to business

Highlight potential technical improvement in areas of responsibility

Follow internal IT standards / guidelines on solution design and build

Qualifications :

Successful completion of B. Sc. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering Technology degree.

Academic or working experience with some or all of the following programming tools - java, SQL, PL / SQL

Experience and proficient knowledge of CC&B version 2.3.1 and the relevant database layer

Experience with CC&B upgrade is an asset

Experience with CC&B version 2.4, 2.5 or C2M is an asset

Experience with MDM processes, components and functionality is an asset

Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)

Experience with database programming - Oracle

Ability to create, update and communicate complex technical design documentation

Experience with Integrated Development Environments such as VSTS, Eclipse and Visual Studio preferred

Experience with Oracle Utility XAI Services

Experience with Version Control Tools such as Bit Bucket, .hg or GIT considered an asset

Experience with ETL programming tools considered an asset ie SSIS

Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic; willing to go the extra mile when it's crunch time

Have a passion for building highly functional and user-friendly software
