We’re looking for a Senior Auditor, 52-109 to join our team!

Reporting to the Audit Director, the Senior Auditor, 52 109 is a key member of the Internal Audit team. In this role, you will assist in the successful completion of in accordance with Corporate Audit Services mandate, audit methodology and best practices.

  • Conduct 52-109 compliance tests in various business areas without supervision. Responsible for project management (timelines) and identifying gaps in design and efficacy of controls.
  • Review tests performed by colleagues.

  • Prepare crisp and concise reports of findings and recommendations for management.
  • Follow up on audit conclusions to ensure recommendations are implemented.
  • Participate in developing and modifying audit practices and tools and in department initiatives.
  • Coach professionals.
  • Complete operational audit engagements, including analysis and tests of processes, in various business areas, under supervision.
  • Your Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional auditing or accounting experience
  • A recognized professional designation (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) is an asset
  • Experience in 52 109 / SOX in a large public organization or external audit in a Big 4 firm is preferred
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong analytical skills leading to accurate conclusions
  • Commitment to timely delivery of high-quality work within budget
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Dynamic individual with high energy and engagement with the company
  • P&C insurance experience is an asset
  • Experience with the use of data analytics tools is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) for Quebec required
  • This position will be located in either Montreal (2020 Robert-Bourassa Blvd.), St. Hyacinthe (2450 Girouard Street West) or Toronto (700 University Avenue) and will require minimal travel (Canada / US).
