As Channel Manager, you will collaborate and partner with key stakeholders who support sales, channel management, regional market management, community build, and products and services to bring new opportunities to life over broadband networks.

Here's how

  • Lead single family unit (SFU) sales and resourcing strategy, in collaboration with channel managers, sales partners, and regional market managers
  • Drive and develop sales and loading initiatives across cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic priorities
  • Launch SFU sales in fibre & copper communities, motivate, and train sales partners on key priorities, including protecting the TELUS brand, winning the hearts and minds of the community, improving sales yield, and driving premium value from a premium network
  • Establish a culture of high performance and thought leadership through effective and measurable activities including channel engagement, recognition, performance development and coaching
  • Analyze, manage, and present sales performance results across the organization with a variety of stakeholders, including working level and executive level audiences
  • Drive innovation, creativity, and team collaboration to continuously improve upon best practices and standard processes
  • Prepare program governance updates for executive governance bodies
  • Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the services and features that TELUS provides to customers
  • Insights into how investments in broadband capabilities can generate socio-economic benefits for a community
  • Expert-level thought leadership across all the four Ps of marketing
  • Strong channel and vendor management experience
  • Sales, training facilitation, and knowledge of the residential property management industry would be an asset
  • Self-starter with proven organization and time-management skills
  • Strong relationship building ability and pre-existing network (internal and external)
  • Ability to develop long-term strategy, own and manage a program to support it, and drive execution and delivery
  • Strong business acumen, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience with senior management communication
  • Expert skills in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
  • Great attention to detail
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer experience focused
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity

  • Great-to-haves

  • Post-secondary degree in business, computer science, and information technology
  • MBA (or equivalent experience) would be an asset
  • Project Management certification would be an asset
  • Minimum 7 years experience in telecommunications
  • Minimum 5 years product management, service development or project management experience
