The Learning Materials Specialist is responsible for the purchasing and inventory control of learning materials, including new and used texts, reference and general interest books, and special orders for resale at MacEwan Bookstores at all campuses.
This position collaborates with faculty to ensure accurate and timely provision of learning materials and is crucial to student success.
Post-Secondary Degree in Business, Supply Chain management or equivalent with 3-5 years working within an academic environment.
An understanding of MacEwan University programs including alternate delivery formats for learning material. Knowledge of the complexities in the purchasing of textbooks, trade books and related merchandise would be an asset.
