  • The Opportunity :

    The Warranty & Tire Coordinator is responsible for claiming and collecting all warrantable work completed in-house as well as by third-

    party vendors. This role is also responsible for applying and collecting goodwill contributions from suppliers and ensuring accurate billing from vendors and suppliers.

    Key Accountabilities :

  • Review claims created in work order system
  • Identify and estimate warranty and / or goodwill coverage
  • Gather and edit backup, calculate part cost and allowable labour time with all claimable items for submission to appropriate OEM representative
  • Ensure collection of submitted warranty items
  • Review and maintain warranty parts cage
  • Receive and ship parts to vendors
  • Dispose of parts as required
  • Review invoices for claimable items for goodwill, warranty and / or incorrect billing which are submitted to on-road warranty check workflow in Synergize
  • Review and document invoices that are not billable to Challenger in zero-dollar warranty claim
  • Communicate any discrepancies with work orders or invoices to management and consult with members of the maintenance department on eligibility of various repairs for warranty
  • Order tires, process tire invoices and maintain tire inventory
  • Performing other maintenance duties as required
  • What You Need To Be Successful In This Role :

  • Secondary School Diploma required
  • 1 to 2 years' of work experience in maintenance or parts environment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Experience with truck and trailer technology
  • Bilingual skills considered to be an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff
  • Strong self-discipline and initiative
  • Creative and effective problem solving ability
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Detail and deadline oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment to meet competing deadlines
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and also in a team environment
  • Well-organized, professional and a positive team member
