  • SUMMARY OF TASKS :

    Exciting position within a skilled team supporting a global SAP transformation in a fast-growing company. Experience working with global business leaders around the world (Canada, USA, Argentina and UK with more to come) to harmonize business processes and put in place SAP solutions that provide business value.

    The Finance Process & Solutions Senior IT Analyst is responsible for providing on-going support, assisting in project delivery, from conception to implementation, and assisting in the definition of strategic road maps of global systems and solutions that support Finance related business processes across all Saputo divisions.

    The incumbent will work closely with the business SMEs, ABAP and BI developers and testing team throughout the System Development Life Cycle to deliver leading Financials solutions which meet business requirements and are fully integrated with the core SAP solution.

    This opportunity is for an individual with functional SAP Finance experience. Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is preferred.

    RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Interact and collaborate with business including preparation and facilitation of workshops, document outcomes and conduct reviews to translate business requirements into functional requirements / specifications;
  • Conduct Fit / Gap analysis of requirements and recommend solution options based on best practices; requirements / specifications;
  • Write and review functional specifications in accordance with standards, governance and best practices;
  • Configure SAP Finance modules to meet business requirements;
  • Develop test scripts, execute tests and document results to confirm functionality;
  • Provide end user support to stabilize new changes deployed;
  • Support training material preparation and training of key-users;
  • Provide level 3 end user support to accounting function users globally;
  • Actively monitor the production system processes and activities;
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve production system issues / incidents;
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and leading practices within finance;
  • Identify solution improvement opportunities and leverage leading SAP practices to continually enhance business value and benefits from IT enablement.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering or Business Administration / Commerce;
  • 5+ years of hands on project experience designing and delivering SAP Finance solutions preferably in the consumers packaged goods industry;
  • Strong configuration experience in SAP FI, CO, SD, COPA and BPC including demonstrated understanding of business practices and SAP’s underlying data models;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide updates to leadership; adept at building relationships with internal teams and external partners;
  • Solid experience with SAP BI technologies such as WEBI and Analysis for Office;
  • Strong system integration skills;
  • Advanced data analysis skills;
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficient in other Microsoft Office Word & Powerpoint;
  • Ability to operate in complex, fast pace project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & language;
  • Preferred : Bilingual - English & French;
  • Preferred : Accounting designation;
  • Preferred : Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum (e.
