Job Title : Account Manager (Broadcast and Media)
Location : Etobicoke, ON
Length of Assignment : Permanent, Full-time
Job Requirements :
Strong knowledge of the Information Technology industry
Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including senior-level executives, to define needs and provide solutions
Develop and maintain strategic and tactical client relationships in Post Production, VFX, Production, and category two Broadcasters.
Cold calling by using research and your own vast network to achieve your goals
Demonstrated ability in developing new clients through building and maintaining a sales funnel
Industry experience in the operations or engineering side within the Broadcast and Post Production environments is an asset
Sales or practical experience in the AV market is also a strong asset while also being an affective negotiator
Accountable for achieving regularly outlined sales goals
Must be able to present and promote complex high end software and hardware workflows to customers involving multiple technology partners.
Demonstrated successful track record working in a collaborative sales environment
Prepare and deliver high level presentations to key accounts, potential clients, business partners, and industry associations
Develop and maintain sales forecasting activities
Canadian Media Industry Experience is a must with at least three years of relevant sales experience with Technology equipment
Broadcast and Post Production - 3 years
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Audio Visual Technology Sales - 1 year
Multi-tasking, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities
Post-secondary education in Broadcast Technology, Computer Sciences, or a related field
Technology Sales - 5 years
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Preferred)
