Golderhas a new opportunity for a Bilingual Proposal Coordinator to join our Marketing and Proposal team on a full-time basis based in Ottawa.

An overview of yourrole will include :

Reviewand analyze in-bound proposal requests and develop the structure and content torespond in either French or English

Planand coordinate proposal tasks, from initial go / no go and kick-off meeting toproposal delivery and post-submission follow-up

Compileinternal intelligence such as history with the client for proposal decisionsand strategy

Coordinateand execute proposal win strategy and assist staff in developing capture plans

Compile,edit, and write standard proposal components in adherence to requirements;compiling disparate content elements from a distributed group of authors into acohesive and responsive proposal document

Performand delegate proposal tasks, and ensure proposal schedules are maintained andmet

Assistwith proposal budgets and other technical sections, as required

Adaptexisting resumes, project descriptions and boilerplate information

Reviewfinal proposals for quality assurance and quality control

Facilitateshort-list interview strategy and develop presentations

Assistwith internal and external proposal debriefs and other proposal close-outactivities

Serveas a subject matter expert and participate in the development of proposal teambest practices, tools, and policies

Contributeto the generation, collection, dissemination, and storage of relatedinformation

Effectivelycommunicate with proposal teams and colleagues, as well as other stakeholders

Reporton proposal metrics as required

Supportand contribute to North American Proposal Team initiatives and activities, andad-hoc requests

Thinkand act in Golder’s best interest and actively promote our core values

Travelbetween offices as required for training and proposal related activities

You will have abackground in :

Bachelor’sdegree in journalism, communications, sciences, engineering, business, orrelated discipline

Aminimum of 2 years’ relevant experience

Strongverbal and written communication skills in French and English are a must

Attentionto detail and excellent proofreading / grammar skills

Excellentinterpersonal skills

Superbteam player able to excel in a multi-task, deadline-driven environment

Abilityto work overtime and under pressure to meet deadlines

ProjectManagement skills (prioritizing, scheduling, follow up, etc.)

Proficientin Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Proficientin Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign and Acrobat) to create clientcollateral and proposals

Experiencewith client relationship management CRM tools desirable

Experiencein the professional services consulting industry (engineering and sciences anasset), with an emphasis on proposal management and / or writing is ideal

Experienceworking on Federal Government and Public Works proposals is desirable

Experienceworking with both internal and external client groups, and distributed(virtual) proposal teams

Comfortableworking and interacting at all levels in a multidisciplinary environment
