The Employee Services team has an exciting opportunity for a solutions-focused, results-oriented individual. Reporting to the Manager for Employee Services, the HR Quality and Information Management Officer’s primary responsibilities include :
Acting as the primary HR business support lead and solutions architect for the various HR teams including : Career Lifecycle, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits and Labour Relations, and ensuring that the HR systems are configured to support and empower our staff.
Translating requirements for business solutions into functional design specifications to facilitate development by our technology partners.
Leading, facilitating, and / or participating in small to large-scale HR projects.
Ensuring quality assurance for the HR information system (HRIS) by developing and monitoring audits and reports to ensure that the integrity and reliability of the HR and Payroll systems are maintained.
Supporting end-users on system functionality and reporting tools.
Responding to various ad-hoc reporting needs and providing insight to stakeholders as required.
Facilitating and / or conducting cross-sectional HR surveys.
This position is temporary until approximately September 30, 2022.
What you will bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or in a related field;
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Human Resources;
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
Strong knowledge of current Human Resources principles, practices and procedures;
Demonstrated previous project management experience;
Excellent organizational, planning, coordinating and project management skills;
Demonstrated previous experience with quality improvement initiatives;
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and methods;
Demonstrated ability at problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills;
Demonstrated ability and confidence in presenting complex ideas in simple terms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, proficiency with pivot tables and graphs;
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills;
Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills to effectively manage competing deadlines and changing priorities;
Sound problem solving skills and able to exercise judgement to determine, initiate and / or seek guidance in the resolution of issues;
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to motivate and facilitate people to embrace quality improvement philosophy and initiatives.
You will stand out with :
Knowledge of HRMS (PeopleSoft, ADP, WorkForce, etc.);
Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
