More than people work in our Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and New York studios. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team as a Project Accountant.
This is a finance role designed to support Project Managers through the life of a project. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, very good organizational skills, and be able to multi-task in a busy office.
This is a full-time position. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. 6 : 00 p.m. with summer hours and holiday closure.
Responsibilities : Project Accounting Set-up and maintenance of projects Timely and accurate monthly billing of projects Reviewing and analyzing projects reports Processing monthly disbursement invoices Managing sub-consultants on the project Tracking consultant costs against budgets Reconciling and processing consultant invoices Ensuring consultants are paid in a timely manner using pay when paid method Project analysis Financial projections and reporting Assisting Project Architects with the development of project budgets Ensuring consistency with firms accounting policies and procedures Other ad hoc projects and reports, as they come up Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline Some project accounting experience in a professional services firm - architecture or design firm preferred Advanced proficiency with MS Excel Experience with BST Global is an asset Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with ability to prioritize Collaborative and professional work ethic Ability to work independently and in team setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Please send your resume We thank all applicants who have applied however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
