Technician / Developer in Telecommunications :
If you want to evolve and grow in a dynamic, stable team, realizing various projects, we are looking for a technician / designer telecommunication for its offices of Québec, to conduct pre-design and detailed engineering documentation for the construction of fiber optic (FTTH) and other networks, site development, installation of equipment telecommunication cables and cabling (fiber optic cables, fiber optic guard cables, copper multipair cables) used mainly for telephone and computer distribution.
Conduct site visits, do various outdoor and indoor surveys, record information and write visit reports;
Analyze, understand and validate documents from customers;
Perform detailed engineering and drawing. (CAD) according to the standards in force and the technical specifications of the customers;
Write technical documents (plans, specifications, order forms, network diagrams, calculations, etc.);
Participate in technical meetings with the internal project team.
College diploma in telecommunications or equivalent;
Work experience on Bell Canada projects in the last 12 months;
Between 2 and 10 years of relevant experience as a telecommunications technician;
Knowledge of telecommunications networks of public utilities and standards in force;
Ease of working with rigor in an ever-changing multidisciplinary project environment involving teamwork;
Good ability in technical writing and communication;
Good ability to learn independently;
Good ability to work with the following computer tools would be an asset : AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.);
Ability to adapt to customer needs;
Ability to work in an ISO environment and project management (quality, budgets, deadlines);
Ability to adapt to changes;
Available to travel;
Bilingualism, French and English (asset).
Valid driver's license and car.
