As part of the land acquisitions team, the Real Estate Contracts Administrator will primarily be responsible for drafting and reviewing various real estate documents to facilitate the purchase of land for multi-
family developments across Canada. This role also assists with document revisions and the maintenance of property files and associated databases.
The Real Estate Contracts Administrator must have a working knowledge of Real Estate laws and terminology and previous experience with drafting real estate documents.
Assist with the opening and closing of land acquisition files
Review purchase and sale contracts
Draft and review documents, including : vendor and purchase transaction documents; statements of adjustments; closing documents / reports and accounts
Generate correspondence and reports
Review / request / order property reports, certificates of title and related documents
Maintain and file documents and associated databases
Update and maintain land databases
Conduct and review land title searches
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders
Perform other administrative duties as required
Post secondary education in legal administration or equivalent
Minimum of two years experience working in real estate
Working knowledge of Real Estate laws and terminology
Experience with drafting real estate documents
Superior organizational skills
Able to manage files from start to finish.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Able to multi-task and to meet deadlines under pressure
