Maxxam Analytics is looking for a As a LABORATORY Analyze water and gas samples using ICP, GC, TSS, TOC, pH, Maintain proper calibration and quality control records Perform and document routine maintenance procedures Prepare samples for analysis using Troubleshoot and understand analytical equipment Report instrument breakdowns to Ensure adherence to Maxxam’s policies, certifications and accreditations You are the ideal Technical Diploma (Chemical Technology preferred) or other post-

secondary education focused in chemistry Previous hands-on laboratory experience a strong asset Previous experience analyzing water and gas samples using ICP, GC, TSS, TOC, pH, sulfur, density, chlorides, Basic chemistry knowledge for application in a laboratory setting Basic understanding of computer use Detail-

oriented with good communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work independently or within a group Ability to work on-

call, shift work Occasional overtime / weekend work may be required Working Conditions This position is consider Must have own vehicle and reliable transportation to work This position will be required to work shift work including day shifts and overnight shifts

  • This shift schedule is 7on / 7off, rotating 1 week day shift then 1 week night shift
