Job Description

The Revenue Operations Data Analyst will report to the Director, Global Revenue Operations and have a wide range of duties leveraging knowledge in Business Intelligence (BI), analytics and statistical modelling, the Data Analyst will create predictive, statistical models and dashboards for new reporting, produce in-depth analysis for Key business teams in Revenue Operations and improve processes based on business requirements.

  • Analyze business activities and workflows throughout supported Revenue Operations departments (Customer Success, Professional Services, Sales)
  • Develop predictive models and dashboards for Revenue Leadership stakeholders and Operations Analysts to analyze, track and trend KPIs and Sales Metrics for Revenue leadership
  • Build specific ad-hoc data models and business insight models to solve urgent and operational needs
  • Build functional strategic and statistically data models and business insights managed by the Core Data Team
  • Work closely with Core Data team to : Improve overall analytics capabilities, Expand data catalogue Provide requirements for new data models managed by the core team and revising of reporting requirements,Provide quality assurance of imported dataBuild dashboards, validate metrics and help drive prioritization of work asked of the data team on behalf of Revenue Operations
  • Identify data gaps in our business processes and revenue systems and work with other functional teams to ensure source systems capture and produce correct data
  • Coordinate and align internal stakeholders within Revenue Operations to ensure data accuracy and quality throughout the funnel
  • Support Revenue Operations leadership stakeholders to identify, define and automate key metrics and work with core Data Team to ensure automation
  • Tracking and identifying data trends, and providing actionable insights and recommendations that drive revenue
  • Being a power user of Revenue Ops tools and systems and responsible for ongoing maintenance (improvements, updates), administration and consistent use across the Go-To Market team
  • Developing and delivering training on systems and processes to new and existing team members and providing updates as systems and processes evolve
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Math, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in a related role, field or industry with proven success supporting a data analytics solution within an organization
  • Knowledge of Data Management practices and Business Intelligence with strong math skills, ability to collect, report and analyze data with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative analysis, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Interpret data in a compelling manner, and have strong technical knowledge of data management systems, data warehouse methodology, data quality, data modelling, data governance, analytics, and predictive modelling
  • Experience in python or R programming strongly desired
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and maturity with the ability to present data, visually and verbally, to guide conversations with business managers
  • Experience with data management using tools such as Excel, Sheets, SQL Server and knowledge of Marketo, GainSight, Zendesk an asset
