The Senior Manager, Agile Product Owner will lead a cross-functional team within Tangerine's Client Activation Squad to conceptualize, co-
create and execute client growth initiatives that activate, engage and delight clients. The "PO" will leverage their ability to organize and motivate people, influence stakeholders to translate and execute their vision to the team.
The PO will also ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Develop the vision and roadmap for owned areas, as well and create and maintain a detailed product backlog
Partner with and influence key stakeholders to align with the PO vision across the organization
Develop and maintain a close relationship with the business and key stakeholders
Facilitate problem-solving as required and work with technology, analytics, marketing and product economics to determine effective solutions, implementation and timelines
Engage in the day-to-day with the Scrum team to write and clarify user stories and participate in Scrum events
Own business results of growth initiatives including accurate and timely reporting of key KPIs
Coach team members and provide and enable two-way communication and feedback with functional leads
Maintain strong business acumen and stay abreast in industry trends and innovations
Support the Director, Lead Product Owner in achieving business targets while also and provide daily direction to the Scrum team.
Analyze business results and make adjustments and changes as necessary
Responsible for understanding and complying with the Regulatory Compliance Framework including the Anti-Money Laundering / Anti-
Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Policy and all AML related policies, procedures and controls within the department.
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Creates an environment in which his / her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his / her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-
to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML / ATF / sanctions and conduct risk.

communicating vison / values / business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team.
Education / Experience
o University or College Degree
o 3+ years related experience in digital product management or technical solution delivery is preferred.
o 2+ years working in an agile scrum team
o Excellent agile leadership competencies
o Excellent project delivery skills, with proven accomplishments leading cross-functional projects.
o Facilitation and fact-based problem solving to resolve complex issues and drive actionable outcomes.
o Previous work experience with significant accountabilities relating but not limited to :
Digital Product management and digital product development
Leading IT and business teams
Influencing senior executive decision
o Experience in a technology company or top-tier technology consulting firm an asset.
o Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
o Master's / MBA considered an asset.
Certified Scrum Product Owner designation is an asset.
Working knowledge of software, Information Technology, mobile application development is an asset.
Technology and design focus with a strong understanding of the development process, creative process and overall UX / UI.
Strong data driven approach, utilizing key metrics and evidence in decision making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate on a broad spectrum (from deep technical discussions to high level executive vision).
Excellent written, verbal, virtual, and live communications skills.
