Responsibilities and Tasks :
The Procurement Team will be responsible to ensure materials are procured, properly received, stored, and documented offshore to meet project requirements while adhering to established work schedule, HSSE and quality requirements.
Responsibilities and tasks may include, but are not limited to :
Secure materials and equipment prior to execution of work scope with continued focus on HSSEQ and client specifications;
Confirm purchasing requirements and obtain competitive quotations, prices, or tenders from potential suppliers;
Liaise technical clarifications and amendments between supplier and client teams;
Expedite material and equipment to ensure on time delivery with attentions to receipt and approval of specified documentation;
Ensure material and equipment is delivered to site undamaged, on schedule, and with accuracy;
Identify and communicate matters that potentially affect the acquisition of required goods and services including material / equipment shortages, missed deliveries, and damages;
Coordinate and manage material bagging / tagging / staging of materials for offshore scope.
Ensure up to date overview and timely reports of all materials procured and received in accordance with planned activities, maintaining direct communication with procurement, logistics and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications and Personal Qualities :
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with relevant post-secondary qualifications, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Offshore materials familiarity would be an asset
