Position : Dietary Aide - Temporary Part time

    Southbridge Care Homes is looking for a qualified Dietary Aide to become part of a dynamic Food and Nutrition Department team that ensures our Residents are provided with nutritious and delicious meals, that are prepared and served with love.

  • Reviews regular and therapeutic menus and sets up equipment and supplies for food preparation.
  • Prepares breakfast items.
  • Ensures meals are served on time, at appropriate temperatures and in portion controlled quantities.
  • Maintains all required records such as menu changes, delivery receipts, temperature checks, cooperates with other departments to meet resident needs.
  • Serves food to residents according to individual diets and preferences.
  • Participates in proper storage and labelling of dietary supplies and food.

  • Successful completion of an approved FSW program with current Food Handlers Certificate OR
  • Successful completed of an approved Culinary programwith current Food Handlers Certificate OR
  • Current enrollment in secondary / post secondary school WITH current Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Previous dietary experience an asset, but not a requirement.
