Overview of the opportunity :

The GTA Impact Coordinator role is part of the GTA Marketing team at KPMG. In this role, the coordinator will report to the Senior Manager, Impact, Communications & Marketing and will provide support for the execution of the local Impact strategy, including the delivery of programs, Impact events, communications, and administrative support.

What you will do :

General Administration & Systems Maintenance :

  • Coordinate meetings, manage meeting materials, and taking minutes
  • Monitor the Investment Management System, track funding requests, obtain RMP approvals for sponsorship, liaise with requesters as required, processing in IBS, coordination and distribution of payments, produce summary reporting.
  • Provide weekly summary report to the GTA RMP for review and approvals of Impact requests
  • Monitor and track GTA Impact budgets, donations, working committees, etc.
  • Supports the delivery of engagement and recognition programs that are led both locally and by the National Impact team (i.
  • e. annual Impact Awards)

  • Provides logistical and coordination support in the planning and execution of GTA events supported Impact and the Diversity and Inclusion strategy
  • Maintain server access privileges and collaboration sites
  • Communications & Reporting :

  • Primary content manager for the GTA Impact portal intranet
  • Responsible for drafting communications and managing the editorial calendar of Impact-related communications
  • Responsible for the functional GTA Impact mailbox, responding to or escalating queries as appropriate
  • Support quarterly reporting process by accessing and coordinating various internalDatabases (i.e. IBS, IMS, Impact Profiles), collecting key program reports to perform basic data analysis
  • Monitor, analyze and provide Impact recommendations to the Senior Manager based on local activities, KPMG people networks, vendor and NFP opportunities
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of content for all GTA Impact stories, BAC and TNO monitor slides, and black stand posters
  • Support the preparation of content and presentation materials for internal and external audiences
  • Produce a quarterly GTA Impact newsletter, working in collaboration with the GTA Marketing, Communications and Creative services on behalf of the GTA RMP
  • As / when required, producing and / or contributing content for other internal and external communications (GTA Today articles and reports, other presentations or reports, slip sheets for proposals etc.)
  • GTA Impact Events and Activations

  • Contribute to the achievement of our social impact objectives and the broader GTA Impact strategy by supporting the local champion and people networks, Impact working groups and partner sponsors in the following ways :
  • Act as a point of contact for the local network of Community Leader champions. compile and distribute content for monthly newsletters
  • Provide administrative support to the as needed to maintain distribution lists, coordinate internal and external meetings, manage meeting materials, taking minutes
  • Coordinating and executing on GTA Impact events
  • As / when required support National Impact team with execution / support for National Impact sponsorships that are activated in the GTA (i.
  • e. Prince’s Trust, WE Day, RTCC, United Way, Take your Kid to Work Day)

  • Responsible for marshaling resources internally (i.e. MarComm, HR, I&D) coordinating the delivery of major sponsorships and Impact events.
  • What you bring to the role :

  • Post-secondary education degree level or equivalent is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior project management skills MUST be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholder groups, including c-level executives
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and a team player
  • Creative and passionate about Impact with a demonstrated knowledge of the GTA Impact priorities
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a positive manner
