The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for management / coaching of a team ofinside sales professionals who support a defined group of business partneraccounts located throughout all Canadian provinces and territories.
The ideal candidate will be a process-oriented, passionate, people-firstmanager who thrives on building and developing a team by empowering eachindividual through personal development practices, strategies and tools.
Theability to nurture and build a successful high performance team with a strongcultural foundation is of paramount interest.
In this role you will be working directly with the category, campaign,business segments, as well as the extended NA sales teams.
Your leadership responsibility will span nationally across the Canadianmarket. Activities include all people management responsibilities, salesperformance measurements, delivery of sales results and execution of Lenovo’sstrategic activity within the channel.
Additional responsibilities include :
Responsible for a team of channel sales professionals primarily responsiblefor remote partner management (inside / hybrid roles)
Responsible for early stage Partner Journey, which includes acquisitiontargeting, onboarding, reactivation, and early growth development.
Tight alignment with our distributor network.
Focus on high customer experience levels through the use of moderncommunication tools.
Management of business intelligence to ensure channel sales professionalsare actively solutioning through impactful KPI's.
Professional development and coaching will be core target strengths.
This role will be located at Lenovo’s Markham, ON office (Toronto).

Excellent Communication abilities with specific focus on interpersonalskills, as well as verbal, written and listening skills.
Demonstrated success as a strategic thinker.
Some sought skills are the ability to tightly forecast, quick action withunderstood outcomes, risk taker when called upon, customer first throughoutfunctions (to name a few).
Proven ability to successfully handle a variety of tasks in a fast pacedenvironment.
Management or leadership experience.
Strong interest in a sales career path and leading a high performance salesculture.
Completed university or college degree.
Preferred Skills :
5-7 years of sales experience, Channel and IT sales preferred.
Fluency in English is a must with French seen as an added benefit(written / verbal) as this team spans the country.
Knowledge of the Canadian reseller channel will be seen as an asset.
