The Director of Digital Marketing will shape and lead the College’s digital admissions and extension recruitment strategy.
This includes social advertising, digital campaigns, and SEO / SEM efforts both internally and in partnership with external vendors to engage prospective students.
The successful candidate will be a savvy content marketer with an ability to expand upon the stories of Otis College’s transformative impact to reach key audiences and nurture engagement.
The Director of Digital Marketing will additionally oversee the development and expansion of the College’s website and manage a team consisting of a senior web developer, digital designer, multimedia specialist, and social media marketing manager.
This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing. Location Los Angeles, CA (Westchester) Essential Duties Summary CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES : Leads the conceptualization and implementation of digital campaigns spanning email, social, SEO / SEM, and related tactics to drive application volume for degree programs and enrollment growth for extension programs.
25%) Oversees the development and expansion of the College’s websites ensuring content is innovative, meets accessibility standards, supports marketing goals, and is integrated with other marketing and communications efforts / strategies.
20%) Works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the college to define and implement a robust inbound marketing strategy, automation tools, and CRM to support prospective student engagement (20%) Manages production of high-level digital marketing materials using internal and freelance resources while upholding the College’s primary marketing messages, brand standards, and visual identity guidelines.
15%) Supervises key staff to drive digital marketing efforts forward including the senior web developer, digital designer, multimedia specialist, and social media marketing manager.
15%) Develops regular reporting on digital marketing activity in alignment with established goals and metrics. Performs other related duties as assigned.
5%) Required Qualifications . REQUIRED SKILLS and EDUCATION : A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in digital marketing Extensive knowledge of current and emerging digital marketing channels and tactics including an in-depth knowledge of social media Hands-on experience with SEO / SEM, Google Analytics, CRM software and marketing automation tools Good knowledge of and experience with online marketing tools and best practices.
Basic knowledge of web design procedures and best practices Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
