To manage a team of Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers on a client project and ensure benefits / results are achieved according to schedule.

Ensure all projects repeat, all receivables are paid, top client becomes a reference and secure referrals at the appropriate level.


Establish credible and enduring professional business relationships with client at all senior executive levels

Appropriately allocate work and maximize the effectiveness of the specialists and managers assigned to project to ensure results are achieved

Manage all aspects of the project :

  • Project results are achieved and deliver long term value to the client
  • Deliverables are accurate and completed on time
  • Project costs are within budget
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client situation and how to deliver results to meet their needs
  • Understand the emotional and political drivers / components to the purchase decision and organizational change

  • Develop a set of complete, clear and comprehensive presentation material to communicate status and outcomes to the client
  • Develop and maintain multi-level client business relationships that remain commercially viable and yield references, referrals and repeat work

    Ensure Senior Consultants execute appropriate training to ensure all project delivery staff are effective in their roles

    Participate in business reviews; lead project design and work with Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Analysis to develop project approach

    Ensure effective hand off from business review to project delivery teams

    Quickly identify and initiate areas for more work with the client organization and related businesses

    Prepare and conduct appraisals for assigned Consultants and Senior Consultants in accordance with HR policies and procedures.

    Create career development and performance improvement plans for Consultants and Senior Consultants

  • Act as a role model for junior project staff; identify opportunities to actively mentor and sponsor Consultants and Senior Consultants;
  • inspire them about the Engagement Manager role

    Prepare Senior Consultants to become Engagement Managers

    Contribute to the knowledge base of the company

  • develop and submit new methodologies, tools or templates
  • submit project files in accordance with Knowledge Management guidelines
  • Use the Knowledge Management databases to augment personal contribution and the contribution of project delivery staff towards achieving project benefits and delivering value to client

    Ensure compliance with corporate governance

    Deliver weekly training to all Installation Specialists
